Enid Civitan Club Announces New Officers

Enid, OK - LOCAL RESIDENTS TAKE LEADERSHIP POSITIONS WITH LOCAL SERVICE ORGANIZATION

Several local residents were recently elected to leadership positions in the Enid Civitan Club, and will soon begin managing the club’s charitable projects in the area. The club helps others through a variety of community service projects in Enid, including 4RKids and Ainsley’s Angels. Civitan meets at 1314 North Garland in Enid 2nd and 4th Fridays at noon to 1.

The new officers are as follows: (L to R) Richard Shepard, President; Theresa Sharp, President-Elect, Robin Shepard, immediate past-president, Patsy Shepard, Secretary; and Ken Wade Treasurer, and Abe Davenport Chaplain. They began their terms on October first. Installing our officers is Heartland District Governor Frank Kelly.

Civitan International is an organization of community service clubs with roughly 40,000 members across four continents. Each club works to help others and fulfill needs in their community, with a special emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities.
