ENID, OK - The Enid Cinderella Scholarship Pageant is calling all young ladies ages 0-29 years. You are invited to enter the largest youth development scholarship-oriented pageant of its kind. The Enid preliminary pageant will take place November 23 at the Stride Bank Center.

The Cinderella Program focuses on the following attributes when choosing our scholarship recipients; interviewing skills, stage presence, poise, self-introduction, eye contact in conversation and many more areas of development and presentation that are great skills to learn, have and improve on at any age.

Although affectionately referred to as a “pageant” this a natural system. Some of the rules include not allowing make up until age-appropriate and they encourage participants to use clothing that the “really” wear such as Sunday/Easter dresses or a first-day-of-school outfit to present on stage.

They encourage presentation of talent although it is not required. Encouraging young ladies to demonstrate their abilities in voice, dance, arts, speech and many more avenues is very rewarding.

Up to 4 crowns will be awarded in each of 8 age divisions. This is a great way for young ladies to meet new friends all over Oklahoma. A free modeling workshop is included.

The International Cinderella Scholarship Program, founded in 1976, has grown into the largest and most prestigious scholarship oriented pageant system of its kind in the world. Cinderella has awarded millions of dollars in cash college scholarships to young women from the United States and a host of foreign countries.

Cinderella is based on a 3 tiered system of competitions. Participants start out on the Local level and based on their performance can advance to the State level of competition and then proceed to the final level of competition, the International Pageant.
