Election Board Changes Polling Location

ENID, OK - The polling place for Precinct 308 has been changed, Michael Frisbie, Secretary of the Garfield County Election Board, announced today.
Voters in Precinct 308 previously voted at Carrier Congregational Church.
-
Beginning with the Presidential Preferential Primary on March 3, 2020, the polling place for Precinct 308 will be at Grace Mennonite Church, 4006 North Oakwood. This is located at the intersection of Oakwood and Purdue.
-
Frisbie said the Garfield County Election Board decided to move the polling location due to safety concerns.
-
“Safety is a priority for us. After an internal audit, we have determined that the previous location is not ADA compliant and, therefore, does not meet required standards. We want to ensure that all voters are able to vote at their polling place on Election Day, without worrying about their personal safety.”
-
Frisbie said all voters have the option to vote by absentee ballot or participate in early voting. Early voting is available at the Garfield County Election Board Thursday and Friday, February 27-28 from 8:00 a.m.-6:00 pm and Saturday, February 29 from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Voters who would like to apply for absentee ballots can apply online at www.elections.ok.gov or in person at the County Election Board located at 903 Failing Avenue in Enid before Wednesday, February 26. Office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For more information, contact the Garfield County Election Board at (580) 237-6016.
