A graveside service for Dorothy Eddington, age 89, will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at the Garber Cemetery, with Pastor Kenneth Wade officiating. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Dorothy was born to Wilbert and Sophia (Schrieber) Meier on September 16, 1926, in Garber, and passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016, in Enid.
Dorothy grew up in Garber and graduated from Garber High School. She married Homer Clover, and they made their home in Enid. They had four children. Dorothy worked at Greenbrier Nursing Home for eighteen years. On August 15, 1970, she married Ralph Eddington. Dorothy enjoyed bowling, working in the yard, playing pool, and garage sales.
She is survived by her children, Connie Woolman, Wanda Dempewolf and husband Jim, and Jack Clover and wife Cindie; daughter-in-law Joyce Clover; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two brothers LeRoy Meier and Richard Meier.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Eddington; son Donald Clover; brother Elroy; and sister Joan Salyer.
