He owned and operated Dave’s Small Engine repair where he was known as being one of the best engine repairman. His favorite saying was “it’s already broke, what’s the worst that could happen?” David loved fishing, playing golf, OU football, and farming, but most of all he lived to hunt, especially deer hunting. He was known for his famous deer jerky which he gave to all his friends and family at Christmas. David was known for his loyalty, dependability, and work ethic.

David is survived by his brother Mike and wife Teresa Benson of Ponca City and his nephew Brian Benson. His extended family Jon and Jodeana Pralle, Jared and Amy Pralle and their children Jensen “Bub” and Karstyn, Jennifer Pralle, Janelle Pralle, Nichole Sweeten and her children J’son Hough and Olivia Creel, and his beloved dog Roy.
