Mason Announces Bid for State Senate District 19

ENID, OK - Enid resident, and businessman David Mason announced today he is seeking the Republican nomination for Oklahoma State Senate District 19, which encompasses portions of Alfalfa, Garfield, Grant and Kay counties.

I believe my business experience throughout Northwest Oklahoma, the relationships I have developed in these communities and raising my children will bring a breath of fresh air to the Oklahoma State Capitol.” said Mason. “After thoughtful consideration, discussions with family, friends, I felt a calling to serve not only the community in which I live, but the entire district and state.”

David Mason is a fourth generation Oklahoman, obtained a degree in Secondary Education from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Masters Degree in Secondary Educational Administration and had a career in education as a teacher. In 2003 David’s entrepreneurial spirit drove him to pursue a career in insurance where he was quickly promoted to District Manager and on to Agency Point Manager. More recently David was Vice President of Dillingham Insurance Group before retiring in 2017. David is active in the community, having served on the boards of CASA, Grand National Quail Club, Enid Rotary Club, Metro Area Planning Commission, Public Arts Commission and the 911 Board. Currently, Mason serves as the Enid Ward 6 City Commissioner.
