Danny Joe Fleer Sr.

Graveside services for Danny Fleer, Sr, of Mannford, will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Del Norte Cemetery. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Danny was born December 9, 1936 in Okeene, Oklahoma to Robert and Bessie (Miller) Fleer and passed away December 11, 2020. He graduated from Drummond High School in 1954. He married Betty Jo Peterman on August 21, 1954 in Fairview, Oklahoma, and resided in Drummond until retirement. After retirement they moved to Keystone Lake to live on their houseboat. Due to health reasons he moved to Mannford. Danny was a member of the Elks Lodge of Sand Springs and the Waukomis Masonic Lodge. He was a founding member of the Drummond Volunteer Fire Department. Danny was the Owner/ Operator of Fleer Oil and Hardware and DJ’s. For all his friends who knew him raise your glass one more time for him.
He is survived by his son, Danny Fleer, Jr and his wife Mary Jo of Drummond; daughter, Teresa Willingham and her husband Rick of Enid; grandchildren, Chanda Kapke and her husband Daniel of Enid, Christy Shearon and her husband Allen of Enid, Brad Wood and his wife Windy of Yukon, Robert Fleer and his wife Kayla of Drummond; 12 great- grandchildren.

Danny is preceded in death by his father, R.D.; mother, Bessie; brother, Buddy; wife, Betty.

Memorial donations in Danny’s name can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice of Tulsa with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
