Chris A. Miner

Sunday, August 17th, 1930 - Monday, May 24th, 2021

Funeral services for Chris A. Miner, age 90 of Enid will be 10:00 am Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Garber with Pastor Mark Hein officiating. Burial will follow in Garber Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Chris was born August 17, 1930 in Cherokee, OK to George L. and Lona E. Elmore Oliver and went to be with her Lord on May 24, 2021. She was raised in Oilton, OK where she graduated from Oilton High School in 1948. She married Kenneth Miller on July 12, 1948. She later married Adrian Meyer on August 3, 1968. She married J. R. Miner. Chris worked at Garber Public Schools for 28 years. She later went to work for ARCO as the field office secretary retiring in 1995. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church Garber.

Chris loved to dance and enjoyed music. She was a member of the Oliver Sisters and would travel around and sing for different events. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and always put others before her needs. Her strong will and determination were what she was known for. She always made things happen.

Chris is survived by her sons, Ron and Trudy Miller, Brett and Kelli Miller and Marty and Shannon Meyer; grandchildren; Paula, Christibeth, Jeromy, Brady, Brandon, Kody, Payton, and Morgan, several great and great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Euell and sisters Dortha and Lois, and grandson Patrick.

Memorial donation scan be made to OMRF-Heart Division with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
