Cecil Ray Bledsoe

Funeral services for Cecil Ray Bledsoe, 75, Enid, will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Pastor Brad Mendenhall officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Enid Cemetery under the kind guidance of Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the United States Army.

Cecil, one of nine children, born on February 23, 1943 in Pawnee, Oklahoma, the son of Roy Bryant and Mattie Ocie Boggs Bledsoe, and passed away suddenly on August 26, 2018 at his residence. He was raised on a farm in Big Ben, graduating from Ralston High School. Cecil served his country honorably in the United States Army for fifteen years. He married Lula Marcella Paige in Tulsa on July 27, 1975. She preceded him in passing on May 26, 2013. They were members of the Lutheran Church in Tulsa before moving to Enid in 1977 where they attended Westside Baptist Church as well as Faith Lutheran Church. Cecil was the manager of several filling stations including Phillips Petroleum as well as Pillsbury Mills.

Survivors include his daughter, Patty Ging of Enid; granddaughters, Elani, Julia and husband Jayden Klusmeyer Sheridan, Stormy Zimmerman and Cara Turner; two great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter; brother, John; sisters, Wilma, Juanita, and Sue. In addition to his wife, Cecil was preceded in passing by his parents, three brothers, and one sister.
