Celebration of Life Service for Catherine Bray, 74, will be Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 2:00 pm in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Terry Chick officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Catherine was born June 20, 1948 in Enid, Oklahoma to Russell and Helen (Earhart) Cockrell and passed away February 5, 2023 in Enid.
She grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School in 1966. On October 28, 1966, she married Allan Bray and they made their home in Enid. Catherine was a stay at home mom, while the kids were young. She later worked in offices, Lamberts, NBC Bank, Bank of Oklahoma, and Larry’s Home Oxygen. Catherine enjoyed reading, traveling, crocheting and her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Karen Shipley and Jeannie Buzzitta.
She is survived by her husband, Allan; children, Laurie Bray and Jeremy Bray; three grandchildren, Chloe Bray, Piper Bray, and Ely Verbeke; two great grandchildren, Celeste and K’rell Evans, and one on the way; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to OMRF-Alzheimer’s division.
