January 31, 1967 - November 9, 2020

Funeral services for Brian Wickham, 53, Enid resident, will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Pastor Gary Miller officiating. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service. Brian was born on January 31, 1967 in Enid, the son of George D. and Linda K. (Miller) Wickham, and passed away on November 9, 2020 in Oklahoma City. He was raised in Bartlesville and Enid along with his two brothers, Jimmy and David. Growing up, his favorite pastimes were hanging out with his brothers and family (Especially his “Black Sheep Cousins”).

Brian was a truck driver and really enjoyed driving over the road and seeing the country. He was awarded the one million mile safe driver award. Brian married Paula Kroll on April 26, 2016. He was blessed with two beautiful daughters,, Brittany and Alyssa. He was always so proud of them. Bragging about them to friends. Brian also loved spending time with his six grandchildren. Since he was a child at heart, Brian knew all the fun stuff to do. That’s why they called him the “Fun Grandpa”, He would tell them silly stories about wrestling alligators, and help them build forts, sneak snacks and pop, playing jokes and getting in trouble with them. Brian would always say “Shhh---Don’t tell grandma” He also enjoyed hanging out with his brother Jimmy. He was always so happy to see him. We all know he loved his OU Football (So did the neighbors). Slow was not a word in Brian’s vocabulary. He lived life in the fast lane with a lead foot. Paula and their dog Frank, joined him traveling in the truck, going to numerous states and seeing the country. He was always thinking up new places to go to see. He loved making people laugh and have fun. Pulling pranks and telling dumb jokes (Even when Paula would tell him he wasn’t funny). Going to C-Town! Was one of his favorite memories.

He was preceded in passing by his parents, George and Linda, brother David Wickham and grandparents.

Surviving are his wife Paula, daughters, Brittany and husband Jon Stewart, Alyssa Wickham, Jordan Powell and Carley Chamber, sons Austin Powell and Maggie, Zac Powell (Ashley Martin); grandkids, Georgia, Nariah and Michael Stewart, Dawson Powell and Remington and Hardy Powell; brother Jimmy Wickham and bonus brother David Balos, and numerous extended family.

“Oh! And he got out of cleaning the garage!” The family has requested memorial checks be made payable to OMRF, Cancer Division.

Obituaries are posted, in part, due to the generosity of The Commons.
