Bobby Sooter

The Memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Bobby Sooter, 67, of Enid, will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday September 13, 2025in the Brown-Cummings Chapel with Chaplain Shelby Maddox officiating. Complete cremation care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.

He was born May 20, 1958, to Don and Eva (Bilbrey) Sooter in Texas and passed from this life September 7, 2025, in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educated in Tatum, New Mexico graduating from Tatum High School. He worked as a Parts Runner years and love to ride bulls then went to work as a Platform Builder at Haliburton. He then worked as a Long-haul Truck Driver. He later began his career at Phillips-Conoco working as an Oil Transfer Driver, Pumper and worked for Spur Energy

He is survived by his fiancé Verna Rex, of the home, his mother, Eva Sooter; his children Darren Sooter and wife Kelsey, Lacey Sooter, both of Tatum, New Mexico and Mandy Hall, Amy Travis, Amber Dickinson and husband Lonnie, Joe Hall and wife Kim all of Enid; nineteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Donna Rowland of Seminole Texas and one brother Leslie and wife Laura of Lovington, New Mexico

He was preceded in death by his father Don Sooter and one granddaughter Paisley.
