The Memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Bobby Gene Hastings, 51, of Edmond will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday May 15, 2026 in the Kansas Veteran’s Cemetery in Winfield, Kansas with Reverend Sammy Tucker officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Marine Corp Honor Guard. Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 P.M. May 16th at the OKC Masonic Lodge #36. Complete cremation care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.
Bobby was born December 11, 1974, to Wayne and Phyllis (Hastings) Napier in Sacramento, California and passed from this life April 20, 2026, in Edmond, Oklahoma.
He was raised and educated in Riverside, graduating from Riverside High School with the class of 1993. He then enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and honorably served his country until 1997. Upon his return to civilian life, he worked as a boat mechanic before working in private security. He then moved to Oklahoma and began working for the Pawhuska Sheriff’s Department and later Tulsa and Wagoner County Sheriff departments. He moved to Edmond and focused full time on softball and family. He married Linsi Nicole Silvers November 20, 2010, the couple made their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma later moving to Edmond, Oklahoma. He was very active in his daughter’s softball teams, always coaching their teams. He loved vacationing with his family and enjoyed football and baseball, especially OU, the Dolphins, and the LA Dodgers, and most recently watching golf. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 36 and the Men’s Cigar Community.
He is survived by his wife Linsi Hatings, of the home, seven children, Dreama Kame, Shelby Compton, Jessica Hastings, Summer Toothman, Ryder Ritchie, Brooklyn Hastings, and Huntington Hastings; as well as four granddaughters Maisie and Magnolia Walton and Calvary and Carolina Compton; one grandson C. Compton; his father, Wayne Napier; one sister Billie Davis; numerous nieces and nephews; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his mother Phyllis Napier and son in law Spencer Walton.
