Enid, Okla. - The Enid High Big Blue Band was invited by Congressman Frank Lucas to represent the entire state of Oklahoma in the 2016 National Memorial Day Parade in Washington D.C. The band accepted the offer and represented Oklahoma on Monday, May 30 in the national parade.

Members of the band enjoyed a five-day stay in our nation’s Capital and visited monuments, museums, and historical sites. As one can imagine, this was a once-in-a-lifetime event. The band was able to raise the money to get every band member to the parade.

With such a large amount of money needed for this fantastic trip, the band will be running short of operating funds in the fall. If you would like to contribute to the band and help build up their savings account they would greatly appreciate it.
