Betty Jean Bradford (King)

August 20, 1960 - August 5, 2021

Celebration of life services for Betty Jean Bradford, 61, Enid resident, will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, August 9, 2021 in the Garriott Road Church of Christ with Gene Long officiating. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.

Betty was born on August 20, 1960 in Roseburg, Oregon, the daughter of Sherman King and Dorothy Williams King, and passed away suddenly on August 5, 2021 in Enid. She was raised in Eucho, Oklahoma, until she met and married her husband Calvin Bradford, Sr. in 1982, moving to Enid. She worked for Bradford Electric Alongside her husband and son. Betty was also a caregiver for her son for sixteen years. In Betty’s spare time, she enjoyed her tv shows, jumping at her chance to go to the casino, and watching her great-grandchildren. Betty’s grandkids and great-grandkids meant the world to her. If any one knew her, you knew she liked to talk. She’d give you the shirt off her back if she was asked. A true blessing to anyone that had the chance to meet her and get the priveledge to love her.

Surviving Betty is her husband, Calvin Bradford, Sr. of the residence; son, Calvin Bradford, Jr and wife Holli and two kids, Coby and Kloey; daughter, Tammy Bradford and two kids, Harley and Jade Bradford, daughter Tracy Turner and husband Andy and son, Syler, grandddaughter, Mercedes Bradford, and two her two kids, Audree Marie, and Lamare Wayna Michael, granddaughter, Halen and her husband Brandon Adamson and son James; Grandson, Devin Kile and wife Shelby and two kids, Willow and Grayson; granddaughter, ShyAnn Jackson and husband Kedric and two kids, Ryker and Ryden; siblings, Bob and wife Kathy King; Don King, John and wife Debbie King, Ernest King, Tom and wife Kathy King, Sam and wife Janelle King, Milly and husband Henry, and Jerry and wife Laura.

Betty was preceded in passing by parents, Sherman and Dorothy King, son, Galen Bradford and grandson, Ryan Kile.
