Local Attorney Launches Book On Amazon

ENID, OK - Enid native Matthew Neill Davis comes from old school, dirt-scratching Oklahoma and Kansas farmers who worked hard to become doctors and lawyers. Speaking from his new law office located in a vintage two-story house on West Maine, Davis was all smiles at his book launch and signing party on Tuesday, April 2.
-
The book launch was a culmination of many months of hard work in writing and developing a bold business strategy rooted in forward-thinking risk management. With over 20 years in law, Davis watched people make stupid mistakes that almost cost their families everything. He has turned his legal and business skills into a system helping people make smart business decisions and preventing stupid mistakes.
-
"The Art of Preventing Stupid" was published by Inc. and is available on Amazon in hardcover. The book shows struggling entrepreneurs how to weed out the mistakes they’re making and make work easier, more profitable, and more secure.
-
Davis said, "The Art of Preventing Stupid" is about teaching business owners and managers how to keep their business out of trouble. It's about getting in front of their problems so that they're not dealing with them on the back end." He also said, "An ounce of prevention is worth an ounce of cure, that's why we call it the "Art of Preventing Stupid" because we want them to prevent problems."
-
The reason he tossed in the "stupid" thing is because most problems are self-inflicted and the kind of stupid mistakes people wander into because they don't productively think about how to stay out of trouble.
-
In conjunction with the book, Davis has also launched a companion podcast by the same name. You can subscribe to the podcast on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, TuneIn, Spotify, via RSS and others. You can also learn more about Davis, the book and podcast at MatthewNeillDavis.com.
