United Way of Enid & Northwest Oklahoma announced today that Executive Director Dan Schiedel will step down from his role on December 31, 2026, following more than a decade of service to the organization and the Enid & Northwest Oklahoma region.
The United Way of Enid & Northwest Oklahoma Board of Directors has officially opened the search for the organization’s next Executive Director. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit a cover letter, resume, and list of three professional references to the United Way of Enid & NW OK Board Governance Chair, Ashley Hendricks, at ashleyhendricks723@gmail.com. During Dan’s tenure, he successfully guided the organization through a period of significant growth and enhanced its impact. Under his leadership, Schiedel expanded its outreach and services, increased its funding capacity, and established community partnerships that strengthened the work of United Way and its partner agencies.
