The memorial service for Larry Allen Woods, 66 year-old Ringwood resident will be Friday, May 15, 2026 at 1:00PM in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel.
Larry was born April 10, 1960 in Amarillo, Texas to Robert Allen Seal Jr. and Florence(Stephens) Seal and died Thursday, April 30, 2026 in his home surrounded by his family. As Larry's father was in the military the family moved often in his early years. He graduated from Covington-Douglas High School with the class of 1978. While in high school he worked with his step-dad servicing Stucky's Franchises in almost every state. His little sister helped them one summer. Larry loved playing and watching football in High School. He then attended Oklahoma State University. After OSU he went to work as a derrick hand and even got to work on his uncle's crew. He then went into the exhaust cleaning business for himself. He then went then went to work Boehm Plumbing for 15 years. In 2006 he started Woody's Plumbing which he owned and operated until his retirement in 2023.
On March 7, 1987 he married the love of his life, Lesa Yeager in Enid where their made their home. They moved to Ringwood in 2001.
He was an avid hunter, especially deer, and has prized shots mounted in his living room. He also liked to fish. Larry loved to play golf and drink beer. He also loved coaching his sons sports teams.
Larry is survived by his wife Lesa of the home, sons; Chris Woods and wife Abby of Enid and Tim Woods and wife Kelly of Coaldale, Alberta Canada. Three grandchildren, Garison, Brooklyn, and Elye Pekrul. Two sisters, Sherry and Terri. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to The Hope Lodge.
