A Celebration of Life Service for Wanda Jean Wegmiller, 70 of Enid, will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2026, in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bruce Johnson officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Wanda was born June 5, 1955, in Enid, OK to DeEarl and Lena Myers Williams, and passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in Enid.
She married Jay Wegmiller on September 21, 2001, in Hot Springs, AR. Wanda was a waitress for many years working with Jay at their family business the Flamingo. She enjoyed sitting under her shade tree, thrift shopping and gardening and taking care of her plants. She loved her grandkids, who were her world, and her dog Lola.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Janis Shiplet and Joyce Ford, and two grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Jay, children, DeAnna and Shawn McCartney, and Erin Klein, sisters, Carolyn Pearson, Judy Gettings, Brenda Priest, brother, Danny Williams, nine grandchildren, Brookelyn McCartney, Mallory Heinrich, Ainsley Heinrich, Katelyn McCartney, Clayton McCartney, Shanley O’neill, Tayvian Johnson, Tate Quintero and Gentry Klein, and a great-granddaughter, Athena Nunley.
