Funeral Mass for Antonia Gomez, age 83, of Enid, will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father Robert Miller officiating. Service and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Antonia was born on January 16, 1942 in Tepehuanes, Mexico, to Ascension and Sophia (Salinas) Barrios, and passed away on December 18, 2025 in Denton Texas.
Antonia dedicated many years of her life to housekeeping, which she approached with humility, pride, and a strong work ethic. After retiring, she devoted herself fully to her home and family, finding her greatest joy in cooking for those she loved. She was a loving woman, with a gentle spirit, loving heart, and always putting others before herself.
Antonia is preceded in death by her parents; husband Jose Gomez; and one son Antonio Gomez. She is survived by her children, Norma Perez, Fernando Perez, Luis Gomez, Jose Juan Gomez, Antonio Gomez, and Patricia Gomez; sister Maria Elena Barrios; and one brother Victor Salinas; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
