OG&E Title Sponsor for Baseball Tourney

ENID, OK - Northern Oklahoma College is proud to announce OG&E the Title Sponsor for the NJCAA Region 2 Division 2 Baseball Tournament at Enid’s David Allen Memorial Ballpark May 10-13.

A representative of OG&E throw out the first pitch for the prime time game on May 10 and before the Region 2 Finals on May 13.

“We are excited about the partnership with Mr. Ruby and the rest of the good people at OG&E,” said NOC Athletic Director Jeremy Hise. “Their sponsorship helps us provide a first class experience for our student-athletes and coaches. We hope this is the start of a long and fun partnership as we strive to keep this event in the Enid community.”

Teams in NJCAA Region 2 Division 2 include NOC Enid, NOC Tonkawa, Redlands Community College, Murray State College, Carl Albert State College and Western Oklahoma State College.

Currently, four teams in NJCAA Region 2 are in the latest NJCAA Division 2 Baseball Top 20 rankings.

Another major sponsor of the NJCAA Region II Tournament is Visit Enid Oklahoma. Visit Enid Oklahoma (visitenid.org) has sponsored the NJCAA Region II Tournament the past four years.

“Marcy and her team at Visit Enid do a fantastic job supporting local events in our community,” Hise said. “This tournament would have never returned to Enid without her assistance. We are thankful for the continued support of Visit Enid and with their help we hope to continue to host this event for many years to come.”

The winner of the Region II Tournament advances to the Plains District Tournament May 18-20.

The NJCAA World Series is set for May 25 – June 2.
