The Haynes Sisters will be in concert at First Baptist Church on May 26 for both the 8:15 and again at the 10:50 a.m. services. First Baptist Church is located at 401 W. Maine in Enid. The Haynes Sisters, Tiffany, Tonya and Tara, have been performing for almost 30 years dazzling audiences with their harmony.
Specializing in music that shares the Gospel and the “Big Band” sounds, the Haynes Sisters have sung for churches, civic events, and a variety of charity functions.
The Haynes Sisters have performed in Nashville, TN. at the Grand Ole Opry Hotel and Convention Center. Other appearances include charity events sponsored by the Dallas Cowboys, Deion and Carolyn Sanders Celebrity Auction to benefit the Homeless, Bill and Diane Bates Charity for Battered Women, Alliance Airport commemorating the 50th anniversary of the United States Air Force with Ross Perot, Dallas Mavericks Basketball Games, and several fund-raisers for the University of North Texas College of Music.
The Haynes Sisters tour the United States spreading the gospel and bringing back the “Boogie Woogie” sounds made famous in the 1940's and 1950's by sisters such as the Andrews Sisters, Maguire Sisters and Lennon Sisters. These ladies’ desire is to share Jesus Christ through their singing as well as their stringed instruments: violin, guitar, cello, and viola.
