Alabaster Caverns Has 19,000 Bats!

FREEDOM, OK - This weekend Alabaster Caverns State Park went into the cavern to see how many little flying critters they had and were pleasingly surprised...over 19,000 bats! Almost 3,000 more than last year's count. Winter is a very good time to see them as they hibernate close to the pathway...stop in and find out for yourself.
