A Memorial Service for Yaeko Lardie, age 86, of Enid, will be at 4:00 PM Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.
Yaeko was born to Mr. & Mrs. Takasaka on August 12, 1930, in Kyushu, Japan, and passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016, in Enid.
Yaeko attended school in Japan. On December 24, 1955, she married Richard Lee Lardie, and they made their home in Enid. Yaeko worked as a clerk at Braum’s Restaurant in Enid.
She is survived by her son George Lardie and wife Darla of Enid, daughter Gloria Robinson and husband Larry of Enid; granddaughter Alisha Wade; four great-grandchildren; and one brother.
Yaeko was preceded in death by her husband Richard, son Gary, three brothers, and three sisters.
