Virginia was born on November 11, 1936 in Hillsdale, Oklahoma, the daughter Vernon and Ida Hanan, and passed away peacefully on December 31, 2015 in Enid. Virginia graduated from Pond Creek High School with the class of 1954. She continued her education at Draughn’s School of Business in Oklahoma City. Virginia married L.D. Reimer in Pond Creek. To this union, two daughters, Mickey and Gaye were born. Later they moved to Medford where they farmed and operated Reimer Seeds and Fertilizer. They attended First United Methodist Church in Medford. Virginia moved to Enid in 1972 and worked for Enid Credit Bureau, and, later, married Larry Leon Karbs. They moved to Okeene where they worked for the Karbs Family Restaurant (Kampus Korner). She later worked for the Okeene Public Schools, retiring as a head cook. Virginia and Larry moved to Edmond in 1994 where they continued to be self employed. Larry passed away 2004 after losing his battle with a longterm illness and, in 2005, Virginia moved to Enid in to be closer to Gaye. Virginia would alternate residences in Enid and Cushing for the last couple years.

Survivors include daughters, Mickey and husband Jerry Fore of Cushing, Gaye and husband David Stanley of Enid; grandsons, Corey Fore, Aaron Fore, Micah Fore, and Kaleb Stanley; four great-grandchildren, Peyton, Connor and Macy Fore and Livia Fore; and seven treasured foster children; many nieces and nephews. Virginia was preceded in passing by the girls father, LD Reimer, husband Larry Karbs, and brother, Ivan, Oscar, Tom, Carol, Harley and Rob. The family has selected, instead of flowers, memorial donations to be made to Bank of The West with the check payable to the Kaleb Stanley College Fund.
