Funeral Service for Violet Louise Mitchell, age 74, of Kremlin, will be 2:30 pm, Friday, October 17, 2025, at Stittsworth Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Melody Betts officiating. Burial will follow at the Hennessey Cemetery. Violet was born January 14, 1951, in Higgins, Texas to David William and Audry Louise (McCartney) Beebe, and passed away on October 11, 2025, at her home in Kremlin. Violet graduated from Hennessey High School in 1969, then furthered her education at Autrey Vocational and Technical School in Enid obtaining her LPN certification.
On February 16, 1971, she married Daryl Gene Perigo in Hennessey, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Hennessey, and then Enid, and raised their family. They were together until his passing in 1989.
Then on July 22 1994, she married Ricky Joe Mitchell in Las Vegas, NV. The couple made their home in Kremlin until his passing in 2013.
Violet worked various jobs early in life, but found her passion in healthcare. She worked as a nurse aid, then as an LPN. She spent her many years as a nurse split between time at St. Mary’s Hospital, Bass Integris Hospital, HealthBack Home Health, and Greenbrier Nursing Home. She enjoyed travelling across America, going to thrift shops, and was a prayer warrior for all those in need. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
Violet is preceded in death by her parents, David and Audry Beebe; beloved husbands Daryl Gene Perigo and Ricky J Mitchell; brothers John Beebe, Mac Beebe, and Ray Beebe; daughter Darla and son Darby Perigo. She is survived by her father-in-law Fred Mitchell, son Stephen Perigo and wife Amy of Bellevue, NE; daughters Diana Davis of Hennessey, and Debra Tower and husband Dan of North Bangor, NY; ten grandchildren Jeremy, Steven, Kimberly, Brian, Marcus, Brady, Brendan, Nathanael, Jonathan and Xavier; and eleven great grandchildren.
