Enid Storm Sirens

Storm Siren Test Monday, April 10

ENID, OK - Outdoor storm sirens will be tested Monday, April 10 at noon, weather permitting. Sirens are normally tested on the first Monday of the month at noon. Mike Honigsberg was out of town which caused the delay.
-
The outdoor sirens are to warn you of an approaching storm. They are not meant to warn people indoors so do not be worried if you do not hear them while inside a building. Please use other means of warnings while indoors. You can download the Garfield County EM App for your phone and you'll receive weather warnings.
-
If you have weather or warning questions contact Mike Honigsberg, Certified Director, Enid/Garfield County Emergency Management. Call him at E.O.C. 580-249-5969 or on his cell at 580-541-1263.
