Funeral services for Stacie Fae Backhaus, 55, Ponca City resident, will be held on Saturday, July 2nd, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in Woodland Christian Church with Pastor Loma Sullivan officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the United States Navy. Services are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.
Stacie was born on August 25, 1960 in Dumas, Texas, the daughter of Willis and Oleta Faye Jones Morris, and passed away on June 26, 2016 in Ponca City. She was raised in Dumas, graduating from Dumas High School with the class of 1978. Stacie served her country in the United States Navy. She was united in marriage with Donald Paul Backhaus in Newkirk, Oklahoma in 1995. He passed to the light in 2010. Stacie was employed as a Monitor Technician in the CCU at Alliance Health, Ponca City at the time of her passing. Stacie is survived by sons, Mickey, John and Harley; daughter, Geneva and their spouses, five grandchildren and sister, Billine Solomon.
