Rance Lee McKee

Celebration of life services for Rance Lee McKee, 60, Enid resident, will be held on 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in the Waukomis Christian Church with Pastor Dave Jones officiating. Services are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.

Rance was born on August 11, 1956 in Enid, the son of Leo and Frances Rose McKee, and passed away suddenly in an automobile accident on December 27, 2016.
He was raised and educated in Enid, graduating from Enid High School with the class of 1975.

Rance attended Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa for two years and returned to Enid. He married Robin Gayle Cook at Eureka Springs, Arkansas on May 27, 1988. Rance worked as a supervisor with Chesterfield, and, in 1989, started work with Crabtree Correctional Center. Rance was an avid hunter, loved his hobby air planes, and a huge Oklahoma University fan, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Robin of the residence; son, Joshua of Enid; grandchildren, Leilane and Michael of Waukomis and Akirah of Waukomis; mother, Frances McKee of Waukomis; sisters, Debbie and husband Ronnie Peterman of Waukomis, Marilyn Fuxa of Waukomis, and Katrina McKee of Enid; brothers, Koty and wife Debbie McKee of ElReno, John and wife Kim Cain of Enid; Goddaughters, Chelsea Schuermann of Pond Creek and Courtney Henderson of Chandler, Arizona; numerous nieces and nephews; Rance was preceded in passing by his father, Leo. The family has selected Kid’s Cafe at Waukomis Christian Church or SPCA, Enid, as appropriate for memorial donations.
