Matthew Judd Roberts, 51, of Enid Oklahoma, formerly of Boise City Oklahoma, died Sunday July 7th, 2019 at Integris Bass Hospital, Enid. Matt was born to Monty Joe and Marian Roberts in Glendale, California on March 11th, 1968 completing their family of five children and never letting those who loved him forget what a game changer that day was. He was raised in Kenton, Oklahoma, Simi Valley, California, and Amarillo, Texas. After leaving high school he was drawn to the healthcare field and spent many years being known as the man who went above and beyond to care for those in need in their final days. He was currently employed for the Enid News and Eagle in Enid Oklahoma. Matt would want to be remembered specifically for his care of Ernestine Stevens, who was like a mother to him. He met the love of his life, Tammy James and married her on November 9th, 2001 gaining his two daughters Baleigh and Johnna in the process. Matt and Tammy went on to have three more children, Samantha, Christian, and Kelby, who look and act a little too much like Matt, to complete their own family of five children. Matt loved music of all genres and could beat Tammy and the kids in the artist and title music challenge hands down every time, although Baleigh always held a close second. We all learned to love music more because of him. He also loved history and loved to cook for anyone who walked in the house. Matt devoted his life to caring for others, rocking out, and creating crazy memories with his family and friends. Matt had a wonderful sense of humor and constantly kept Tammy on her toes – never knowing what joke or story he would be sharing with the kids, regardless of if it was age appropriate. Matt was a loving husband and daddy and always made sure to tell us how loved we all were.
