memoryA Celebration of Life for Mary Lou Leblo, 72, of Wakita, will be at the Wakita Cemetery, Thursday, September 22, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Mary Lou was born March 31, 1944, in Anthony, Kansas, the daughter of Louis and Mary Margaret (Naylor) Hess. She went home September 14, 2016 in Wakita, Oklahoma, with her family at her side.

She attended school in Manchester and graduated from Wakita High School in 1962. She was employed by the Wakita Public School System for over 29 years. She enjoyed baking, sewing, crafts, and taking care of her dogs, Bear, Bubba, and Ozzie. She will be remembered for her willingness to help and care for others, always putting others before herself.

Survivors include three children, Kenneth D Leblo, of Wakita, OK, Cynthia M Wilhite (Tim), of Nashville, TN, and Christopher Saint John Creger (Nathan), of Norman, OK, 4 grandchildren, Alexis, Devin, Makayla, and Christian. Siblings include Judy Bellin (Dean), Wakita, OK, William “Bud” Hess (Martha), Anthony, KS, Maggie “Pinky” Ream, Enid, OK, Carolyn “Kay” Mayors (Billy), Melville, LA, Janice “Shotsie” Buswell, Mike “Burlie” Hess (Rita), Enid, OK, Bobby Hess (Jody), Midland, TX, Tammy Warnecker, Enid, OK, Rick Hess (Patti), Waukomis, OK, Kevin Hess, Oklahoma City, OK, and Jack DeBord (April), Ada, OK.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John Arthur “Jack” Leblo, a sister Elaine “Sister” Isaacs, and a brother Ronnie Hess, and two nephews, Kody Lamb and Justin Burlie.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Health Center in Wakita, OK, with the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds. Online condolences’ may be left at www.ladusauevans.com.
