A Celebration of Life for Lola Cravens, 70, 0f Enid, will be Friday, October 21, 2016, 1:00 PM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Elder and Mr. James Cravens officiating. The interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 PM on Thursday. Lola was born May 9, 1946 in Seiling, OK the daughter of Bill and Ella Nickols Rhodes and passed away October 16, 2016.
Lola was a graduate of Seiling High School. She was united in marriage to Gene Cravens October 18, 1963 in Seiling, OK and he preceded her in death August 4, 2012. She was first employed by the Enid Linen Service, then Advance Foods and then transferred to Blooms Food Service until ill health forced a medical retirement in 1999. She was a member of the Victory Bible Church. She loved quilting, cooking and crafts and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Kime and her husband Larry of Perry, Shelly Mead and her husband Eric of Cushing, OK, a son, James Cravens and his wife Kinta of Enid., nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Betty Elder and her husband Dennis and JoAnn Baldwin, all of Enid. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother.
Memorial contributions may be made to OMRF, diabetes or heart divisions with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home custodian of the funds. The service may be viewed and condolences left at www.ladusauevans.com.
