In honor of Kurt Alan Wahl, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2024, in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jarrod Cloud officiating.
Kurt was born on November 11,1976, in Enid, Oklahoma to Chuck and Cynthia Lowe Wahl. Kurt attended Enid Schools where he formed many of his first and lasting friendships. He attended Taft, Longfellow and was an Enid High graduate, class of 1995. He held the title of May Fete King and Student Council & Class President. His high school memories held special significance to him throughout his life. He loved sports and was a natural athlete earning a scholarship in football right out of high school. He later enjoyed being a soccer and football coach to his boys.
Kurt carried on a family tradition of woodworking. (by being a third generation woodworker).
As a young man, Kurt enlisted into the Army National Guard earning the title of platoon leader. He married Stephanie Swiggart on September 19, 1998 and from that union a son, Joshuah Alan Wahl was born. During this time he also worked for Skoda Custom Cabinets where Joe Skoda served as special mentor to Kurt. He worked hard to provide for his family. Kurt also shared his talent with Don Allred of Don’s Doors. Kurt is respected and loved by his customers and many others in the construction business.
On May 18, 2012, Kurt married Kristina Roberts. Kurt supported his family in many ways. Kurt loved preparing and cooking meals for the family. They enjoyed many vacations together, Kurt loved the great outdoors and took his kids hunting and fishing. He loved hiking and visiting his brother Scott in Montana. The family enjoyed the lake often.
Kurt will be remembered for his wonderful smile and great sense of humor. He is respected and loved by his friends. Kurt understood what it took to be a great friend. He had a kind heart and a listening ear. Kurt loved music and was a talented drummer.
In addition to his wife Kristina, Kurt is survived by his mother, Cynthia Wahl Reeves, and his children Ellia, Joshuah, Ashlyn, Amie, Josslyn, Leah, Lyndon and William. His two grandchildren Asher and Hayden, and his brother Scott Nance. He was preceded in death by his father Chuck and sister Haley Wahl. Cremation and arrangement are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

Kurt passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in Enid Oklahoma.
