Karen Jo Krausse

June 4, 1941 - September 20, 2025

Graveside service for Karen Jo Krausse, 84, will be Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 2:30 pm in Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Tommy Donaldson officiating. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory, Enid.

Karen was born on June 4, 1941 in Elizabeth, Arkansas to Delmer and Ruby (Shelton) Skidmore and passed away on September 20, 2025 in Enid.

She grew up in the Covington oilfield and graduated from the Covington High School. Karen grew up in the Garber Baptist Church .On September 26, 1959, Karen married Larry Krausse in Garber.
They made their home in Enid and she worked for several years at the Pioneer High School cafeteria. Karen worked at Woodring Airport Café from 1977 until 1992, when she became the manager of the Advance Foods Karen's Kitchen. She retired in 2012. Karen enjoyed her women's bible study.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; her parents; great grandson, Bryson Holiedy.

She is survived by her children and spouses, Rick (Wrendy) Krausse, Jodeana (Jon) Pralle, and Jeff (Cathy) Krausse; 8 grandchildren, Heather (Larry) Holiedy, Benton (Hannah) Van Osdol, Brandon Krausse, Jared (Amy) Pralle, Jennifer (Seth) Scott, Janelle (Kaden) Love, Tanner (Addison) Krausse, and Ashley (Joe) Black; great grandchildren, Hunter (Desiree) Holiedy, Kayleigh (Erik) Hernandez, Ryan Holiedy, Maverick Holiedy, Demi Van Osdol, Joplin Van Osdol, Memphis Van Osdol, Denver Van Osdol, Karstyn Pralle, Jensen Pralle, Maclayne Black, Kortlyn Black, Brandt Black and Ezra Krausse (arriving in December); three brothers, Larry (Mary Ellen), Connie (Sherrie) Skidmore, and Jerry Skidmore and partner, Bruce Boan. Nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
