The Services celebrating and honoring the life of Juan M. Ruiz, 54, of Enid will be held privately at a later date. Complete cremation care is under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Juan was born June 24, 1965 in Gregory, Texas to Maria Guadalupe Flores and Jose Angel Ruiz and passed from this life on July 06, 2019 in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educated in Gregory, Texas attending public schools and Gregory-Portland High School where he enjoyed playing football. He graduated High School in 1982. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Army in 1985 where he served in the Gulf War. He worked for numerous oil companies as a driller and tool pusher. He liked fishing and riding four-wheelers. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He planned several family activities and would always have something fun in store for them.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Hugo of Enid, OK., children, Chrystal, J.D. Chris, Andrew, and wife Shandi, siblings, Alberto Ruiz, of Purcell, OK., Juana Ruiz, of Enid, OK., Joe Ruiz, of Chickasha, OK., Santiago Ruiz, of Longdale, OK., Martin Ruiz, of Corpus Christi, TX., and Marcos Ruiz, of Dallas, TX. grandchildren, Andrew Jr., and Jaymee, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Guadalupe Flores and Jose Angel Ruiz, and siblings, Maria Guadalupe Ruiz, Jose Angel Ruiz, Marcela Ruiz, and Monica Ruiz.
