Jerry Paul Adamson, 66, of Enid, passed away in his home of natural causes on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Jerry was born in Enid on October 19, 1950 and graduated high school in Atchison, Kansas in 1969. A lifelong animal lover and advocate, Jerry worked for many years at Wheatland Animal Clinic, until he retired a few years ago.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Calvin James "Chief" Adamson on March 13, 1980; his mother, Jimalou Maloney Adamson on March 2, 2007; his brothers, Johnny Mac Adamson on June 26, 2011; and Jimmy Dee Adamson on February 28, 2007.
Jerry is survived by his son, Carey Michael Adamson Solstice of Iowa City, Iowa; his brother, Jessie Adamson; four nieces, and four nephews, and his loving companion of many years, Janice Clark, of Enid.
A memorial for family and friends will be held at a later date next year.
