ENID, Okla. - Meadowlake Park north is going to the dogs. Literally. The animal lovers group, FURever Friends, is having a silent auction fundraiser at the new Meadowlake Dog Park. The event takes place on Saturday, May 21 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
-
Participants can bid on items that include concert tickets, goodie baskets, gift certificates, wine, a romantic date night and even an autographed fiddle from Charlie Daniels. The silent auction is cash only and runs from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm.
-
There will also be plenty of pets at the park as well as food, live music and contests. If you've got a pet with talent, get out there for the doggie talent show.
-
FURever Friends saves animals from our local and surrounding shelters. They get animals off the streets, search for lost pets and take in animals that owners can no longer keep. The animals in their program have been seen by a vet, are up-to-date on shots and have been spayed/neutered (if they are old enough). Their program is foster based and ran by volunteers only - none of the funds received are used for administrative duties.
-
Contact them at 902 W. Broadway or call them at 580-554-4900. See available pets on their Facebook Page.
