MLK Prayer Breakfast
Each year the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission plans and organizes a comprehensive tribute that promotes diversity, equality, and education consistent with Dr. King's dream, work, and legacy. This year is the 60th anniversary of the march on Washington. The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission announces the following celebratory events: • Prayer Breakfast - Saturday, January 6 from 8am to 10am at the Central Assembly of God, Family Center, 1202 Oxford Ave. • Commemorative March - Monday, January 15 at 1:30pm starting at the Stride Bank Center, 301 S.
