AKA Convention Kite Flying
AKA is holding its 44th National Convention October 9-14, 2023, in Enid. Kite fliers will be flying kites at Richard Dermer Memorial Flying Field, 1201 W Willow, behind Autry Tech. There will be a mass ascension of kites on Tuesday, October 10 around 1:00pm. There will also be professional kite fliers flying kites in the afternoon throughout the week. Rustic Roots Fall Festival
Rustic Roots Fall Festival 105340 Greer Rd., Just north of Lamont, OK (about a 40 minute drive from Enid.) Festival is 10:00am to 6:00pm. Featuring a 12 acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, adorable farm animals, a stunning sunflower field where you can cut your own fresh bouquets + amazing photo backdrop opportunities & activities for the kids. Fall season runs until October 29th & they are open Thursday through Sunday! Also open Monday-Wednesday for field trips.
Hunterween
Hunterween Great fun from 2pm - ?? Everyone is invited to the 3rd Annual Eddie Hammons Cornhole Tournament. $30 Pre register $35 day of. Silent Auction and Raffle prizes for the kids. Lots of new Games, Hay Maze and Extreme Haunted Hay Maze after dark. Street Dance and a Trunk or Treat. Something for all ages!
