Out of the Darkness Suicide Walk
September 2, 2022 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Garfield County Out of the Darkness suicide walk will be during First Friday.
Registration/check-in starts at 5:30 and the walk will be from 6:30-7:30 PM.
The Out of the Darkness suicide walk is a fundraiser for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and it provides a unique opportunity for community members that have been affected by suicide to come together for hope, healing, and remembrance of loved ones lost with an aim of reducing mental health stigma and reducing suicide rates. All money raised from the Out of the Darkness walk will benefit AFSP and fund suicide prevention research and programs in Oklahoma.
