Featured Artist Spotlight: Dr. Lisa Kachouee
The Enid Symphony Orchestra is proud to welcome Dr. Lisa Kachouee as our featured guest artist for the grand finale performance of the Bon Voyage! Series.
An Associate Professor of Clarinet at Oklahoma City University and a Backun Artist, Dr. Kachouee enjoys an active career as a solo, chamber, and orchestral musician. She has performed across the United States, Europe, and Mexico, with highlights including a debut at Carnegie Hall and appearances at international ClarinetFest conferences.
Locally, she is no stranger to the stage, having performed with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Wichita Symphony, and as Principal Clarinetist of the Enid Symphony Orchestra. As a soloist, she has appeared with numerous ensembles and continues to champion new music, premiering over fifty works throughout her career.
In addition to performing, Dr. Kachouee is a dedicated educator and recording artist, with credits ranging from classical releases to film scores and even a Grammy-nominated album.
