Evelyn Lorene Ingmire-Osburn

The funeral for Evelyn Lorene Ingmire-Osburn will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Gary Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Evelyn Lorene Ingmire-Osburn was born in Hunter, OK to Ora William and Agnes Mae Dodson on July 23, 1920 and went to her heavenly home on February 11, 2017.

She graduated from Hunter High School in 1938. In August 1940, she married Nelson Ingmire and was married 63 years until his death in 2003. They were lifelong farmer / ranchers near Salt Fork, OK, owning the land Lorene’s grandparents homesteaded in the Oklahoma Land Run. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Enid, OK and was well known for providing homemade bread and rolls for church dinners. She was a leader for the local 4-H club, an excellent seamstress, and enjoyed square dancing. She worked managing the kitchen at the Enid State School. In 2006, she married Arnold Osburn. He preceded her in death in 2009.

Lorene is survived by daughters, Orpha O’Mealey and husband Dwayne; Neadra Webb and husband Brent; sister, Hazel Welch; 5 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Lorene was a hard worker, honest, willing to help others in need, and enjoyed working with children.
