Five80 Coffeehouse is celebrating their 1 year anniversary this week! They took the old Cliff's Camera Shop building and transformed it into a "pay what you can" coffeehouse in downtown Enid. They will have a celebration this Friday on E. Randolph along with Main Street's Second Friday.

NEW LOCATION PLANNED: (Posted June 27, 2014)
Xpress Wellness announced plans to build a world-class urgent care medical center in Woodward, Oklahoma. The new urgent care medical center will be located at 1327 Oklahoma Avenue and expects to begin seeing patients in November 2014. Woodward is the sixth location for Xpress Wellness.
Xpress Wellness is a privately-held company based in Enid, Oklahoma. The company is led by Dr. Scott Williams, Chief Medical Officer, and Brian Hayden, President. Xpress Wellness has two locations currently seeing patients – Enid and Elk City and three other locations under construction (Weatherford, Shawnee and Muskogee).

Global Spectrum is celebrating the one year anniversary of Enid Event Center & Convention Hall. They concluded their first full year of events this past weekend, highlighted by the sold out Reba concert on Saturday, June 21st. The event brought in well over 3,500 people, making total first year attendance 43,858. The event also brought the total first year ticket sales to over $1.4 million since the grand opening last June. 37% of all event attendees during the last year at the Enid Events Center have been visitors from outside Garfield county.

The deal to purchase and de-mall Oakwood Mall into an outdoor style shopping area is officially over. The potential buyers have stated they will no longer pursue the de-malling idea.

Joe’s Clothes, an outgrowth of the Eskimo Joe’s restaurant and clothing stores in Stillwater, has opened its annual holiday Oakwood Mall store today. Mall hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-9pm and Sunday 12pm-6pm. The new location is in the center court of the mall. The temporary store will offer items sold in the Stillwater store, including T-shirts, sweat shirts, jackets and night shirts. The management of Enid’s CiCi’s Pizza sent out an email informing residents and employees that the store has closed its doors effective immediately. Patrons reported seeing a moving truck at the restaurant on Monday and found the establishment closed. They will re-open as The Wine Press a high end wine and liquor store.

Five80 Coffeehouse is now under construction in the old Cliff's Camera Shop location at 122 E. Randolph. Five80 is a coffee house that desires to be a place with AMAZING coffee, an inviting atmosphere, and entirely focused on telling and showing the love of Christ to ALL. CONTINENTAL SOUTH SOLD: (September 14, 2012)
Triangle Insurance Co. has purchased the Continental Center South building at 205 W. Maple from Harold Hamm, chairman and CEO of Continental Resources. Hiland Partners moved into the Continental Center North tower. Continental Resources, owned by Hamm, expanded and relocated to Oklahoma City last year. The 11-story, 73,000-square-foot Continental Center South building was renamed Triangle Business Center. The Triangle Companies was located at 2821 N. Van Buren.

WYMER BROWNLEE BUYS ONE GRAND CENTER: (August 18, 2012)
Enid’s One Grand Center, also known as the First National Bank building, was purchased by Wymer Brownlee & Associates. The group purchased the building at 201 N. Grand from Harold Hamm at a cost of $1.5 million. The deal includs the parking lot west of Leonardo’s Discovery Warehouse, which previously was allotted to StarTek.
