Dixie was born June 28, 1940 in Wellington, Kansas to Leo Anthony and Georgia Lou (Pergrem) Brand and passed away June 10, 2024 in Enid.
Dixie sacrificed for others unselfishly when family or friends were in need. Her most joyful times were when she was able to spend time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. Dixie was a woman of strong faith, which guided her through many of life’s trials and struggles. Even with many health challenges, she was always the first to respond to the needs of others, clear up to the end. Dixie spent hours reading her Bible and sharing her faith. She left her loved ones comforted in knowing, that she was going to the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her fur baby, Muffin; daughter, Jeanette Springer; father, Leo Brand; mother, Georgia Hickman.
Dixie is survived by her children, Allen Springer and Terri Vogt; grandchildren, Joshua and Jeffrey Springer, Adrian Janzen, Brandon (Caitlin) Vogt, Ashley (Allie Pitts) Lowe; great grandchildren, Christian Land, Sydney and Shelby Janzen, Kenzlie and Brynlee Vogt, Lindy Pitts; bonus family, Robin Springer, A.J. Vogt, Doug Lowe; Rudy Springer, Mark Janzen; other relatives and friends.
