3845916The funeral for Diane Carol Hill will be 10:00AM Friday, August 19, 21016 in Emmanuel Baptist Church. Rev. Wade Burleson will officiate. Burial will follow in Square Cedar Cemetery, North of Cleo Springs Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home. Diane Carol (Singer) Hill, 59, passed from this life to eternity on August 15th, 2016. Diane was born November 15, 1956 in Sterling, Colorado to David H. and Ellen (Kromeich) Singer. She grew up in Shreveport, Lafayette, Bartlesville and Tulsa, OK. Diane moved to Enid Oklahoma in 1974 to attend Phillips University.

Diane and James W Hill were married June 16, 1979 in Enid, Oklahoma. They were blessed beyond measure April 4, 1996, with the birth of their son, James David R Hill. After making their home in Enid and Arizona they fulfilled a life-long dream by moving to 80 acres northwest of Ringwood, OK in 2001. After graduating magna cum laude from Phillips University in 1994, Diane spent her career with the Department of Human Services, working at NORCE, Garfield County and finally as a Social Services Inspector.

As a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Diane taught first grade Sunday School, participated in the adult choir, Christmas Pageant, VBS and women’s Bible study. Diane also enjoyed cooking, sewing, handiwork and spending time with family and friends. Diane is survived by her husband, Jim; son, J.D.; brother, Dr. Mark Alan Singer and Larry Bauer of Minot, North Dakota; aunt, Ethel Foshee of Florida; uncles and aunts, Phillip and Sue Singer of Port Clinton, Ohio; Ruth and Lee Duss of Venice, Florida, Tom and Cinda Singer of Huntington Beach, California; Ann and John Luketic of Newton Falls, Ohio; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Judy and Jayme Scott of Ringling, OK; and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Emmanuel Christian School, Gideons International, Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church Little Wranglers Program, and Hospice Circle of Love.
