The funeral for Cindy L. Whitley, 74 year-old Enid resident will be announced in the coming days through Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Cindy was born on February 26, 1951 in Enid to Ernest and Bertha (Field) Boyington and died Thursday, February 19, 2026 in the Garland Road Nursing Home.
She attended local schools and graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1969. On May 24, 1969 she married Melvin Whitley in Enid and the couple made their home here. Cindy raised their children and kept the house and also sold Avon products.
She enjoyed shopping and visiting thrift stores. Mostly she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Melvin, her son Mavric Whitley, granddaughter Paige Manor and grandson Gage Whitley of Enid. Also surviving is her sister Patricia Hope.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Beverly Divis and brother Early Albert Boyington.
