July 21, 1958 — August 18, 2025

A Celebration of Life for Cheryl Ann (Miller) Meyer, age 67, of Covington, Oklahoma, will be 10 am, Saturday, August 23, 2025, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Pastor Kenneth Wade and Tommy Donaldson will be officiating. Burial will follow in Covington Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-7 pm on Friday, August 22nd.

Cheryl was born July 21, 1958, Enid, to Warren Dean and Allie Joyce (Kriethe) Miller and passed away Monday, August 18, 2025, in Enid.

Cheryl graduated from Covington-Douglas High School in 1976. Following high school, she worked at Union Equity Elevator, K-Mart, and Charles Machine Works. She married Alvin Wayne Meyer on April 24, 1981, at St. John's Lutheran Church, where she was confirmed and was a member for many years. Together, they raised four children. When Cheryl's mother passed away in 2001, she took over the bookkeeping duties at Miller Packing. She performed many different duties there and eventually became the owner and manager in 2007 when her father passed away.

She enjoyed supporting her children in all their activities, as well as watching her grandchildren play football, softball, baseball, basketball, band, and track. She also supported them with their show animals and attended many stock shows. You could often find her sitting on her porch watching the wildlife and her cattle.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Allie Joyce Miller, and father and mother-in-law, Doyle and Pauline Meyer. She is survived by her husband Alvin, of the home in Covington; four children, Kay Scott and husband Ernie, of Covington; Austin Meyer and wife Mindy, of Douglas; Julie Stowers and husband Mike, of Fairmont; Colby Meyer, of Covington; seven grandchildren, McKayla Scott and Vernon Brown, of Covington, Hunter Scott, of Covington, Ashley and Aaron Meyer, both of Douglas, and Allie, Lillie, and Brody Stowers, all of Fairmont. Three great-grandchildren also survive Cheryl: Augustus, and Chisholm Scott, and Paisley Brown all of Covington, as well as a sister, Carolyn Medley of Covington, Carolyn's daughter Dawnnell Lamb and husband Earl, of Covington, their daughter Bralee, also of Covington, along with their sons Dakota and wife Billie, of Lahoma, and Jonathan Lamb of Fairview, brother-in-law James Meyer and wife Patty, their daughter Amber Roberts and husband Jonathan, of Covington, and brother-in-law Greg Meyer of Perry, Ok.

Memorial contributions in Cheryl's name may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church of Covington, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
