Barbara Ann Springer Plowman

memoryBarbara Ann Springer Plowman was born January 16, 1933 to Jennie Lucille Springer, Hurley, MO. She married Charles James Plowman of Hurley in 1950. Barbara's life revolved around her family and she raised two daughters, Pam and Sandy. Her other love was her parade of Pomeranians. Barbara loved to read, she sang when no one was looking, and she loved to cook. She worked at the Crane garment factory for many years and in her spare time trained to become an ambulance attendant. Later Barbara went back to school and earned a Licensed Practical Nursing degree which was a very special moment in her life. She worked in nursing for several years until she moved to Oklahoma to be closer to her family. She was proceeded in death by her mother, her husband, one sister, Allene, and cousin Danny Eugene Wilson. She is survived by her daughter Pamela Plowman Oster of Oklahoma City, OK, and grandsons Andrew Ellis Oster and wife Catherine of Edmond, OK, and Charles James Oster and wife Laura of Urbana, IL, and daughter Sandra Plowman Browning and husband Dennis of Trenton, MO, and grandson Jason Dwayne Browning, great grandchildren Elizabeth and Christian of Edmond, and Alexander of Urbana.

A graveside service is planned in Hurley, MO at a later date. Amy stittsworth Funeral Services.
