Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day

ENID, OK - In celebration of Earth Day, the City of Enid’s Public Utilities and Parks & Recreation departments will host a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day and an Environmental Fun Fair at Crosslin Park on Saturday, May 4.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection

The household hazardous waste collection will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Crosslin Park. Participants will enter from 1520 W. Oxford Avenue.

Oil-Based Paints/Stains
Lawn Care Products
Pool Chemicals
Old Fuels
Craft and Hobby Supplies
Pharmaceuticals

Accepted Recyclables

Cardboard
Paper
Aluminum Cans
Tin Cans
#1 and #2 Plastic

NOT Accepted

Commercial Waste
Ammunition/Explosives
Medical/Infectious Waste
Radioactive Waste
Mixed Chemicals

Environmental Fun Fair

The fun fair will include fun for the entire family from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include crafts, activities, and games. Kids will learn how to create treasures from trash! There will also be food trucks, Kiona Ice, Enid Animal Welfare presenting animal adoptions, and also rides for a small fee. Individuals should enter the park from the north on West Purdue Avenue.
