The services celebrating and honoring the life of Jose Daniel Ortiz, 45, of Enid, will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday September 11, 2026, in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tony officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Jose was born November 18, 1980, to Jose Trinidad Ortiz and Denise Esperanza Soto in Los Angeles, California and passed from this life August 31, 2026, in Enid, Oklahoma.
He was raised and educated in Baldin Park California and attended Chaffey High School. He moved to Enid in 2012 to be near family. He worked in the Oilfield as an Electrician Apprentice and as a Master Installer at Nick's Audio. He enjoyed art and building things, cooking, working on vehicles, gardening, and gaming.
He is survived by his wife Maria Peralta, of Enid, his children, Alyssa Ortiz, Joey Ortiz, Aaliyah Ortiz, and Selena Ortiz; his siblings, Diana Ortiz, David Ortiz, Gabriel Ortiz, and Jasmine Ortiz.
He was preceded in death by His mother Denise Soto.
